More Details on How to Care for Cast Iron Pots After Cooking:
Clean and dry your Dutch oven pot after cooking. While the pan is still warm, lightly grease the interior with cooking oil.
Cooking food releases steam, and after the cast oven is turned off and starts to cool down, this steam condenses to water. Moisture is the cause of rust in cast iron products.
The rust is removable. Follow these steps to take care of your cast iron Dutch oven, and they will last a lifetime: (1) Scrub: Wipe off cooking residue or rust (2) Wash: Use dish soap if needed (3) Dry: Water rusts cast iron, so please dry it thoroughly (4) Oil: Grease the Dutch oven with a small amount of cooking oil (5) Bake: Place in the oven at 356°F for 1 hour
The LIFERUN Dutch ovens have been pre-seasoned with vegetable oil before transportation. However, after long-distance shipping, the pre-seasoning may have changed. It is recommended to pre-season it yourself after bringing it home.
We currently offer Dutch ovens with and without feet. The Dutch ovens with legs have capacities of 5/7.8/9.8/13.2 Quarts, while the ones without feet range from 4.2/6.2/8/12 Quarts. A new 7 Quart cast iron Dutch oven model is also available.
[Safe and Stable] The spiral handle can effectively prevent the cast iron Dutch oven from transferring heat, so you don't have to worry about injuring your hands when carrying the hot pot. The handle is securely fastened on both sides of the oven.
[Excellent Heat Transfer] The extra-thick cast iron construction cooks evenly with great heat transfer. The special surface structure allows the Dutch oven to efficiently store and transfer heat, making it suitable for outdoor cooking with charcoal or roasted briquettes.
[Fast Cooking & Large Capacity] The heavy lid and elaborate design help the Dutch oven better collect heat and accelerate the cooking process. Our 8 Quart pot provides ample capacity.
[With Stand & Lid Lifter] The Dutch oven set includes a stand for placement, and the pot can also be used in the oven without feet. A lid lifter is provided for safe and convenient lid removal during cooking.
[Practical for Friends or Family] The Dutch oven is great for baking bread, making lasagna, cooking meat skewers, beef stew, venison stew, and even desserts, cookies, pizza, and cakes. Available in various sizes, the Dutch Oven series makes a wonderful birthday gift.
